Congress Introduction

The 2025 Joint International Rehabilitation Scientific Congress represents a landmark collaboration between West China Hospital and SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, two globally recognized leaders in healthcare innovation and education. This prestigious event will convene experts, researchers, and practitioners from various disciplines within the field of rehabilitation science, fostering an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Through a focus on sharing best practices, the congress aims to explore innovative strategies, advance global standards, and strengthen international cooperation. 

About the conference

West China Hospital Rehabilitation Medicine Center has a proud history of successfully hosting 12 editions of the West China International Rehabilitation Conference. In 2025, the Joint International Rehabilitation Scientific Congress will be held alongside the conference, creating a dynamic and collaborative platform for global exchange.

Each edition of the conference features a diverse range of sub-forums and technical training sessions, covering key areas such as musculoskeletal rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary and critical care rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, regenerative rehabilitation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation nursing, wound care, and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

The 2024 conference hosted an impressive 15 sub-forums, 24 training sessions, and 4 workshops. It brought together 282 esteemed experts from both domestic and international rehabilitation fields, fostering rich dialogue and innovation in rehabilitation science.

Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions from researchers, clinicians, educators, and professionals engaged in all aspects of rehabilitation science. This congress seeks to showcase groundbreaking research, innovative technologies, and impactful clinical practices that contribute to advancing global rehabilitation care.
